Caitlin Kenney is a reporter with a background as a videographer and photographer. She has worked in several states across the United States in a variety of positions over the past five years.

During her recent position at the Coastal Courier newspaper, Caitlin covered a number of local stories focused on government, business, and the 3rd Infantry Division. In 2015, she embedded for a week with the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team during their Joint Readiness Training Center rotation at Fort Polk.

In the summer of 2016, she embedded with 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team in Poland during Anakonda 16, a multinational military exercise with over 20 other countries. Caitlin then traveled to Gabon to cover 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team’s participation in Central Accord 16, another multinational military exercise with several countries and international organizations.

Prior to working at the Coastal Courier, Caitlin volunteered at two military public affairs offices, covering news and military exercises.

Caitlin has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she also studied international relations.

Her work on the Marne Report, a 3rd Infantry Division broadcast news program, was awarded first place in the broadcast video information program category for the 2014 U.S. Army IMCOM Maj. Gen. Keith L. Ware Public Affairs Awards.

Caitlin’s work has also been published in the Fort Sill Fires Bulletin and Liberty Life Magazine.
